White Coat Ceremony

So every year for the first year pharmacy students, the pharmacy school holds a "White Coat Ceremony" in which each of the first year students get "coated" (I'm not sure what other term to use). Basically they get their coat put on them by some of the professors, and their coat has a pin that says, "University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy". These are the white coats they have worn all year in their labs and will wear this summer during their rotations.

To start off, the dean of the school, Dean John Vandel, gave a great motivational speech...

Then the "coating" ceremony.....

After the ceremony they took a class picture...

Then a reception was held afterwards with some snacks.

Here is a picture of us after the ceremony. We'll just count this as my first pregnant picture at 17 weeks along.
