I made it!!

UW Graduation was May 9th. My family came as well as Mark's parents and two younger brothers. My grandpa Kirby also made it from Evanston. Thanks for coming everyone!! My brother and his wife came all the way from Arizona and I was really excited to see them- it was a fun weekend with them, especially since we haven't seen them since last August. We haven't really spent a lot of time with Morgan's wife, Valarie, it was sooo much fun!

Graduation was nice- it was only an hour start to finish- that's what I like! Afterwards we had a small dinner at the church. Before graduation we took family pictures because we were all together.

It's A......

GIRL!!!

I had my second ultrasound today and everything looks great. The doctor measured the head, stomache, we looked at the heart and he got a good shot of one of the feet. We also found all of the inner organs and we got to look at some really neat 3D imaging. He said the baby is developing as it should and he was very sure it is a girl- we are very excited!!

Finally!

So I have officially been done with college since Monday afternoon. You would've thought that I would be so excited I would post that little tidbit of information...but I have still been busy this week and so now I am announcing...

I am officially DONE WITH COLLEGE....done with tests, homework, lectures, presentations, group projects, papers, threaded discussions, research, studying and everything else. Now I can read what I want, when I want and if I want to learn about something I can take my time and not have the stress of a paper or test to worry about.

Oh man, it feels good.

White Coat Ceremony

So every year for the first year pharmacy students, the pharmacy school holds a "White Coat Ceremony" in which each of the first year students get "coated" (I'm not sure what other term to use). Basically they get their coat put on them by some of the professors, and their coat has a pin that says, "University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy". These are the white coats they have worn all year in their labs and will wear this summer during their rotations.

To start off, the dean of the school, Dean John Vandel, gave a great motivational speech...

Then the "coating" ceremony.....

After the ceremony they took a class picture...

Then a reception was held afterwards with some snacks.

Here is a picture of us after the ceremony. We'll just count this as my first pregnant picture at 17 weeks along.
